In Association with the Muslim Poverty Relief Organization (MPR) based in United Kingdom, on the 5th of May 2012, Radio Sapcham Representatives, lead by Hj. Nazy Saleh have brought some donation in term of Educational Kit , money and food for 17 orphans residing in Ampil Village , Krouch Chmar District of Kampong Cham Province .
The Donation was distributed in a Program organized in the Masjid Phum Ampil attended by orphans, Islamic teachers, Imam Masjid and local authority.
It was very surprised and a good gesture of love and caring from our Muslim brothers and Sisters living very far away to share with us the presents for the Orphans here in this village even if we had never met each other in person but just connect via email. Hj Nazy Saleh said. He also expressed his sincere thank to Muslim Poverty Relief Organization who put the trust in Radio Sapcham working group to bring this donation and do hope that MPR would continues this support so that the donation will be reached out to other needy orphans in Cambodia.
Hj. Abdullah, Imam Masjid Phum Ampil represents the orphans and villagers said he was very delighted and also expressed his appreciation for the donors and MPR as well as Radio Sapcham for making this program possible. He prayed Allah to Bless All the related working groups in this project, and especially for the donors.
The 17 Orphans – 9 girls and 8 boys who had received the presents are studying in Ampil village. In the program, they had enjoyed a nice lunch together with Radio Sapcham Representatives, Teachers and Imams. They had received the presents happily.
The given present for each orphan was a school bag consists of 5 writing books, 2 red pens, 2 blue pens, 2 pencils , 1 correction pen ,1 ruler , 1 pen bag , a box of color , one Holy Quran , 1 Surah Yasin and the money in the amount of 50000 Riel.
Radio Sapcham working group is not working only on the broadcast program but also working on brining charitable donation for the needy in Cambodia in which the donation is donated by the local and international donors. Radio Sapcham always happy to cooperate with individual donors or any organizations working for the sake of Humanity.
